iMac G5
An engineering marvel. In the flat panel era, the new iMac integrates perfectly the computer and speakers inside the amazing flat-panel display. Built-in wireless technology lets you use a cable-free keyboard and mouse. This computer is getting better and better at each new redesign. The iMac is a perfect example of simplicity and elegance combined with technology.

iPod mini
Should we spend even more space on the iPod mini? Well yes because the product was a huge success in its first year of life becoming the most wanted Christmas gift. The iPod mini was so popular that it sold out in almost every store in Canada. The mini MP3 player is a hit and will maintain the lead also because there are no real competitors out there.

Podcasting
The iPod is so popular that behind the small player there's an entire new industry of gadgets, software, etc. that competitors do not have. One of the most interesting phenomena is the Podcasting. Think of how a desktop aggregator works: You subscribe to a set of feeds, and then can easily view the new stuff from all of the feeds together, or each feed separately. Podcasting works the same way, with one exception. Instead of reading the new content on a computer screen, you listen to the new content on an iPod or iPod-like device. Think of your iPod as having a set of subscriptions that are checked regularly for updates. Today there are a limited number of programs available this way but the number is going to grow very fast.

Voice Over IP
This technology is not new but has been relegated in a corner because phone companies had a hard time figuring how to cut a slice of the cake for themselves. VOIP (voice over internet protocol) is more than just a way to make cheap phone calls nearly anywhere in the world, and more than just a new way of sending information between two telephone handsets. A more accurate take is that the Internet is allowing new competitors to enter the market without having to make massive infrastructure investments.
