Hey there. Do other people love hockey?
I have a question - how much is a host on a public broadcaster worth???? I like Ron MacLean, but I don't want my taxes going to pay his outrageous salary.
It seems like the whole country is going off the rails. It's the game that matters.

Outrageous? Compared to the money brought in to the CBC through sponsorship during Coaches Corner, which people watch for the Ron and Don interaction and the ability of Ron MacLean to multi-task and cover many different sports for CBC, is the money he is asking for really that outrageous?

Yeah what are you talking about? Ron MacLean eserves at least what he's asking for, if not as much as Don Cherry. Don may be interesting, but Ron is the real talent. Look at what hockey players make!

Guys, we're talking about half a million dollars. If Ron doesn't like the offer he can quit. I'm not going to cry. Sports are building the audience not the anchorman.
Talking about hockey, are we going to see some coverage in Tandem? I would love it.

I agree - tandem should definitely cover hockey.
